I have written poetry for as long as I can remember. And I try and read a book or 2 of poetry each year.

Confusion

Sometimes you just don’t know what to do
Follow your brain or follow your heart?
Sometimes you just don’t know what to do!
Sometimes you feel like you’ve gone insane!
Making decisions is the hardest part of life
Wouldn’t it just be easier to roll the dice?
Have you ever been afraid to make a choice
The fear that the choice you make will be wrong
  The fear overwhelms you
The Joy of the chance fulfills you
The doubt of your self confuses you
And the hope and dreams carries you on
